Chinoiserie Chic in Florida: Guest Bedroom

Beth's Chinoiserie Chic renovation of the Chinese Village home in Coral Gables continues! This week, she takes on one of the bedrooms, and it is so dreamy. The Schumacher wallpaper she selected is a new one for me, and I am now hooked.  I am positively delighted by how this virtual renovation is coming along... although it makes me really, really want this house! What a treasure.

In week one, Beth renovated the entry. In week two, she transformed the dining room. Week three was the kitchen and week four, the porch. Check back next week, as Beth shares her inspiration for the home office.
This inspiration board is for one of the five bedrooms in the Chinese Village House in Coral Gables. The walls are papered in Schumacher's Oiseaux et Fleurs in the Porcelain colorway. I have once again used black ebonized wood floors layered here with a lovely antique oriental rug in navy and orange. The orange canopy bed is a favorite of mine - The Architecture Bed at Room and Board. The curtains are linen trimmed in navy Greek key. The bedside tables are Lilly Pulitzer navy fretwork with a pair of Christopher Spitzmiller orange triple gourd lamps. The orange garden stools are Lilly Pulitzer. This classic yet modern color palette of blue and white with orange is perfect for a guest bedroom. Next up is the home office.
