Kitchen Update

Our home overhaul is coming along... slowly but surely! Please forgive my lack of posts lately. Between overseeing the renovation, charity work, and an illness last week, I have been up to my eyeballs! But I simply must take a moment to share a few pictures of our kitchen in progress...

Our 48" Ilve dual-fuel range in Graphite Matte Black will be installed any day now!

The lion corbels above the range are one of my favorite features in our kitchen.

Rohl faucets in polished chrome, including a pot filler above the range, will be installed soon.

The fridge has been installed and is awaiting its custom panels. A paneled Sub-Zero wine chiller will be installed to the left.

I loved this Danby marble so much, I decided to use it throughout the kitchen, forgoing soapstone. The island will also be covered in Danby marble, and a Shaws prep sink will be installed.

I salvaged this antique cast iron sink, which will be installed below the window. It is HUGE, measuring 50" wide and weighing over 300 pounds. And it's in near mint condition. They just don't make 'em like they used to!

Our kitchen should be complete this week! Boy has it come a long way since we purchased our home last year!...

Our kitchen, before.

Our kitchen gutted.

Our kitchen nearing completion.

    1. Thank you, Brandy! I'm not sure of the exact color, as I had to chose amongst the fabricator's samples... But it is a near exact match to Sherwin Williams Extra White, which is the paint I selected for the kitchen walls (and most of the rest of the house). I hope that helps!

  8. So, I think we should just have our first lunch/meeting at your kitchen lady. I mean, I kinda wanna see that range up close and stare down those lions. Wanna get even more close and personal with that insane wine chiller that is the size of a mountain. Insanely fab. Can't wait to see it all done.
