This spring, I shared my absolute dream home, located in the Florida Pioneer/Colonial Village, and Beth from Chinoiserie Chic guest posted a virtual renovation of a home for sale in the Chinese Village. This week, I've taken you inside homes in the Dutch South African Village and the French Country Village, and today, I bring you the Italian Village. 4301 Monserrate Street is one of only 17 original homes built in Merrick’s celebrated Italian Village between 1925 and 1926.
This Italian villa wraps gracefully around the expansive walled interior courtyard and pool. French doors in many of the rooms allow for wonderful light and gorgeous vistas of the impeccably manicured English and citrus gardens and delightful pool areas. It was built in 1926 and has 5,133 square feet, six bedrooms, and four baths. To see more pictures from last year's real estate listing, click here.
