Lately, I have been blogging about one of my favorite interior decorators, Celerie Kemble, and her mother Mimi McMakin of Kemble Interiors. I recently discovered this Manhattan home decorated by Celerie Kemble featured in Lonny magazine, and I immediately recognized the vintage Murano palm leaf chandelier…
I have a circa 1960s Murano leaf chandelier that is almost identical!
It is going in our new entryway, and I think it will coordinate perfectly with the Brazillance wallpaper in our adjacent dining room. What do you think?
To learn how to recreate this fabulously chic dining room, check out Little Green Notebook’s “Copy Cat Design.” A near-identical vintage Murano chandelier is also available at 1stdibs.

WOW – I am really, really excited to see the Brazilliance wallpaper and the entire space! It's one of my absolute favorites – and you are absolutely right that the color is richer and fuller than Martinique. BTW, thanks for your comment on my Greenbrier post. Your post on DD was spot on, and made me even more excited to visit the Greenbrier when it went up before my trip. I took a bunch of pictures of the Brazilliance that I'll put up this week! It is absolutely marvelous in person. They even had pajamas made in the pattern 🙂

Thank you, Skyla! I am BEYOND excited about the Brazillance! Our renovation keeps getting delayed and delayed (isn't that the way it always goes?!) but I have the wallpaper, and I drool over the rolls every day. I will post tons of pictures once it goes up!! And I was hoping you would be posting pics of the Brazillance in the Greenbrier! I can't wait! 🙂
XOXO,
