One of the best things about living in South Florida is the treasure trove of bargain vintage furniture and accessories available at my fingertips. I have found so many wonderful pieces thanks to Craigslist, eBay and resale shops like Circa Who, which I blogged about last month (clickhere.)
One item on my wish list… a vintage Thomasville pagoda headboard for our guest room, just like the one used by Kelly Wearstler below. However, they are quite difficult to find, and when you do, they are usually beyond my budget. I have seen them go for well over $3,000 on 1st Dibs. From time to time, Circa Who and Palm Beach Regency will find one, only to be scooped up within a matter of days, sometimes hours!
Danika’s Vintage Thomasville headboard set, found at Salvation Army. Sooo jealous!!

Do you have a pagoda headboard in your home?If so,please email a picture to me at [email protected] and I will feature it on The Glam Pad!

I bought an entire bamboo detail sideboard from kenedita – of course, I couldn't just drive and pick it up, but I got such a great deal on it, and the shipping cost wasn't bad at all. They just trucked it up the East Coast. I absolutely love it. So glad you found the right headboard, and thanks for showing the rest. A padded pagoda headboard is somewhere in my future, and that World Market one is an amazing price.

Oooh, I love this story, thank you for sharing! Is the kenedita sideboard the Chinoiserie/bamboo on your blog (that used to have the blue fittings)? I have been looking for something similiar!
Some people have all the luck finding cool furniture….I so wish I had time to wander around in flea markets like that! Love everyone of those beds.
omg, i am so jealous of your pagoda headboard!!!!!!! i love it!!!
So glad I finally stumbled across your blog (and another displaced Texan living in FL)! I'm just a few hours north of Miami…also remodeling a home(1960s ranch). I always find gorgeous pieces on Circa Who but to my dismay they have already been snagged! Loving the headboard, very nice find! I'm currently on the hunt for a red pagoda chandelier!
