It is no secret that pink is my favorite color. If my husband didn’t mind, I’d swath our entire house in pink, mirrors and frou frou,à la Lisa Vanderpump… just kidding, Honey! 😉 For Valentine’s Day, I decided to do a roundup of my 14 favorite pink dining rooms. But this one from Peppermint Bliss may just be my favorite yet!
Bailey atPeppermint Bliss is an incredibly talented decorator. In fact, her home (or any of her previous homes) is one of the few I have seen that I could easily move into and not want to change a thing. Mosey on over and take a look… and while you’re there, be sure to check out her blissful master bathroom. I die! Of course, Bailey has Texas roots, so that automatically gives her extra points in my book, y’all! 🙂 Let’s check out her pink dining room…
I was instantly charmed by this incredible painting, and I had to ask Bailey for the story behind the charming monkey and little girl.It is by Donald Roller Wilson, and her Godfather and Mom bought it together when she was little. They shared the painting, moving it from house to house every few year.Eventually, Bailey’s Godfather bought her Mom’s share, but when Bailey and her husband married, he sent it to them in Chicago with a note that read “yours for the next five years.” Bailey said, “So tender, I just hope he doesn’t remember he loaned it to us in two years and we can keep it forever. :)” And I hope so too!
