Last month was the annual Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, a hallmark of the Palm Beach social season. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the event, but the PR team at de Gournay was kind enough to fill me in on a major showstopper… the “Hope Designer Showcase,” curated by one of my favorite designers, Scott Snyder.
I have written before about Palm Beach-based AD100 designer Scott Snyder… I cannot get enough of his elegant and ultra glamorous creations. So when I caught a glimpse of the showroom he designed, I was positively giddy! It included his signature blend of antiques and traditional elements, selected from more than 180 exhibitors at the Show, set decadently against delicious duck egg blue de Gournay wall coverings. I think you will agree this room was absolute perfection…
Each year, the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show brings together thousands of works of art and antiques from domestic and international galleries, in addition to estate jewels from many of the world’s elite jewelers. The Show kicked off with an Opening Night Preview Party benefiting the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, chaired by the elegant Audrey Gruss. In addition to Snyder’s work, this year’s HOPE Designer Showcase featured the work of other top interior designers including Bruce Bierman, Jim Aman + John Meeks, Jennifer Post, and Campion Platt. The 2015 Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show is scheduled for February 13 – 17, and I do not plan to miss!
