It is now week five of The One Room Challenge, created by Linda of Calling it Home, which means I’m in full panic mode. If you are new to this event, please click over to Week One, Week Two, Week Three, and Week Four to get caught up.
Before I begin, I would like to thank my saintly husband who has been tirelessly helping me move furniture, hang pictures, and providing constant moral support. I could not do it without him! He has also given up a chunk of the past two weekends to help me with “Operation Bulletin Board,” which turned into a bit of a fiasco, but ended on a happy note. You may recall, one of the focal points of the inspiration board for my home office is a bulletin board covered with Lilly Pulitzer fabric. For the project, I purchased a Queen sized sheet from the Lilly Pulitzer for Garnet Hill collection in the “Lucky Charms” print.
I had envisioned the bulletin board as more of an accent wall, while serving dual purpose as bulletin board. So after some Pinterest research, I found this blog tutorial, and my husband and I got to work! With some minor revisions to the directions, we ended up with this…
Mimosa Lane
My Notting Hill
The Pink Pagoda
Simple Details
My Sweet Savannah
Verandah House

Andrea, your office holds up to your name, GLAM PAD! Who wouldn't want Lilly's own personal desk?! Those frames from West Elm are perfect with the adorable monkey prints! I love all your DIY and tutorials too. It's been such a pleasure seeing your room's progress and participating in ORC with you. Many thanks for the inspiration to finish my office with some GLAM!
I searched for a Lilly office and it led me to this fabulousness! I love this bulletin board. We are moving soon and this is exactly the inspiration I need. Of course, I went right to Garnet Hill to buy a sheet, but found a shower curtain that I like better. Do you think that would work too or would it be too heavy? Thank you for a great idea!
