This breathtaking Houston home was featured in the December 2013 issue of Architectural Digest, and I’m not sure how I missed it. Fortunately, it has been floating around Pinterest, and the stunning powder bath with its exquisite Gracie wall coverings caught my eye. The Federal style home, which belongs to Susanne and Bill Pritchard, was designed by architect Allan Greenberg and decorated by Cullman & Kravis. I love how it brilliantly blends traditional European antiques with Abstract Expressionist paintings. Truly spectacular!

That rotunda! Allan Greenberg does period architecture so well. Love his work. And the decor is lovely too, and suits the house perfectly. I’ve never quite understood putting modern paintings in period interiors, but if one must, this would be the way to do it.
Wow! So beautiful.
I love how Texans are so “into” their homes!
I would love to find out the artists of their collection throughout the house.
