Andrea,
Great post!
I was fortunate to work on the Arbor Road house of Lee and Selwyn Rose, when it was used as a decorator showhouse, in Winston-Salem, NC- where the dining room and the foyer had Zuber wall papers – ! The foyer had inset panels en grisaille, where I used a Brunschwig floral chintz on the draped center table-
Zuber is the ultimate in wallpaper. I can’t imagine that anyone would ever want to cover it up. I saw a wonderful documentary on the creation of Zuber papers, showing some of the wood blocks, etc. Fascinating.
I am such a fan of Zuber wallpaper and love learning more of the history. Each room is stunning! Hope you have a wonderful 4th!

Mexico High School in Mexico, NY has all the panels on display. The Inn at Dresden B&B has a portion in the dining room.
