  1. Such a lovely home! I’d prefer the living/sitting rooms to be a bit more “English” , but all in all, it’s just gorgeous. You had me at that entrance hall!

  2. Beautiful house! It is odd though that in the last picture there is no path between the (back?) door and the stone steps.

  3. As someone who passionately loves English country house style, I was enchanted by this home, which is so honest in a way that some overblown American homes decorated in a similar style are not. I would add a few more of those beautiful aged Oriental carpets and a boatload of antique Chinese porcelain, which I collect and without which a home for me seems empty. However, this is not my home and the owners have done a wonderful job of making it theirs. This is the first time I’ve ever commented on a blog and that should say something.
