Good design should withstand the test of time, and this cozy Greenwich, Connecticut home designed by Markham Roberts is an excellent example of how to do it right. Created by Roberts for a young family, it was originally featured in House Beautiful in 2007… But it looks as though it could have been designed today! There is nothing trendy or hip about this beautiful home. It is classic, elegant yet cozy, and absolutely timeless. Before opening his eponymous firm in 1997, Roberts studied under the late Mark Hampton – another legendary and timeless designer. It is no wonder why Roberts has been called “a master of timeless American style” by Vogue. Let’s take a look inside!

Another one of my favorite homes from his outstanding portfolio is this classic Nantucket getaway. I am such a huge fan of his work!
