Having lived in Williamsburg for many years ( and planning to retire there in a few years), I am very familiar with this beautiful estate. There are quite a few historic estates along the many waterfront coves in Gloucester county and Mathews county, it’s neighbor, although one rarely gets to see them as they are set back on the waterfront. That’s why boating is such fun…lovely homes and gardens everywhere! Thank you for this splendid tour and memories of our old home town.
