It is Week Three of the Calling it Home One Room Challenge. If you are just tuning in, you can visit my Week One here and Week Two here. This week I have been busy checking off items on my shopping list, including linens for the nursery. There is currently a queen size bed in the room, which we are keeping, and I have been looking for the perfect bedding that will eventually transition into a big boy room. Of course, I am obsessed with Leontine Linens but I cannot justify the expense for a baby boy’s room. So I was on a mission to create an inspired look on a budget…
I am a longtime fan of Jill Sorensen. She is such a talented decorator, and I love her Jill Sorensen Lifestyle line of reasonably priced linens, including the “key” bedding, pictured below. I selected the duvet and European shams in navy, and I think they will be perfect!
Click here to visit Michele at calicodaisy. Next week, I will review the art I have selected for the nursery, and hopefully I will have a few more sneak peeks of my progress in the room! Don’t forget to check out the other ORC linking participants, and the ORC participants who posted yesterday.

Ooh, can't wait to see more of this! Love the monograms!
Such a good find with Calico Daisey!!
Andrea!!! I love you for this tip!! I just bookmarked the shop for future use. I also adore Leontine linens, but the price is not so wonderful….and these appliqued monograms are equally as beautiful! Oh this nursery is going to be so beautiful!!
I love the guest room/nursery you're putting together. I'm another linker doing the same and yours is like the hotter older sister who's a senior , version of mine. Can't wait to see it finished!
Love the monogram look!
LOVE that bedding. Good choice!
Great choice with the bed linens and those monograms are gorgeous!!! I can't wait to see it all!!
Andrea, I just love the Greek Key blue bedding and monogram pillow you picked out! You're sweet boy is going to have the best room! I am glad I wasn't the only that kept the queen size bed in our daughter's nursery until just recently when we moved it into our 3 1/2 year olds room for her big girl bed.
This is really a wonderful post.
