Last week House & Garden reported that “chintz is back (as if it ever went away) and looking better than ever…. There is something unashamedly old fashioned about a good chintz,” they say adding “We think it’s time to fly the flag for chintz again!” Well I adore “old fashioned” so of course, I agree. The January issue of House & Garden features the New South Wales country house of designer Cameron Kimber… It is full of chintz, and the blogosphere and Instagram have been abuzz! There is definitely a renewed interest in traditional design elements including chintz, antiques, oil paintings, and English country style.
