There are so many wonderful new books that have been released this fall, and I have enjoyed reviewing my favorites. One that is just too darling not to add to your collection is At Home with Dogs and Their Designers: Sharing a Stylish Life by Susanna Salk with photography by Stacey Bewkes, published by Rizzoli. The book features the homes of 22 A-List interior designers and includes interviews with their dogs, giving us insight into the luxury of their daily lives from their favorite places to sleep to their guilty pleasures. You can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of At Home with Dogs and Their Designers via Stacey’s fabulous blog Quintessence.

I was so excited to see that Lilly Pulitzer has finally reintroduced clothing for boys and men! While there is only one print currently available (with coordinating outfits for girls and women), Lilly will be introducing additional options this resort season. I can hardly wait!
Season is just around the corner here in South Florida, and my friend Malachy O’Harra Carron and her mother Tierny O’Harra have teamed up to offer the most adorable Palm Beach condo for sale. Tierny is the realtor and Malachy did the interior designs. A former public relations professional like myself, Malachy is finally pursuing her passion of interior design, and she is doing an excellent job! The Shiny Sheet (Palm Beach Daily News) even featured this 1,286 square foot gem with rare patio. Click here to learn more.

I love the luxuriousness of upholstered walls, and I was thrilled when Schumacher announced paper-backed fabrics this month… Brilliant! This option is less labor-intensive and more cost-effective than wall upholstery, as paper-backed fabric is applied to walls with the ease of conventional wallpaper. Several prints are available, but I particularly love Shengyou Toile in the Iris colorway. This would be so beautiful in a bedroom, and of course coordinating fabric is available. If you don’t see a print you love, Schumacher can paper back almost any of their fabrics.

This summer Julia Berger, founder of Julia B. fine linens, expanded her line to include the exquisite Quattro Mani Table Top Collection, and this fall she announced another partnership with designer Suzanne Tucker. The Suzanne Tucker Home for Julia B. bedding collection consists of five luxurious designs, all entirely hand-embroidered and hand-appliquéd. Every item is custom-made, and additional information can be found here.
A huge thank you to my returning sponsors!

Straight from France, The French Tangerine is your Aptware resource! Aptware is a beautifully marbleized faience pottery, naturally inspired by the colored soils in Apt, a small town in France. Aptware is ordered directly from one of several vendors in Apt, France, and there is typically a long wait list ranging from eight weeks to eight months, depending on the color and style. There are a few pieces in The French Tangerine’s shop, but typically Aptware is special order only. Contact Jan via email at [email protected] to inquire about stock, lead time, and pricing. You will also want to check out Jan’s darling Museum Bee collection!
