Awfully sorry to hear that you lost your friend. My sincere condolences.
Oprah was a client at a gallery I worked at in New York City, and I used to see her at the Winter Antiques Show. She is very gracious and approachable. This is a beautiful garden, and what a nice retreat it makes for her. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Nature does bring some measure of solace.
Of course the gardens are stunning … with one exception … the trio of cypress. Picture the space without them.
I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I lost my dad on 4/6 to cancer, & it hurts me tremendously. I love how you found this garden & it made you think of her.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Garden’s connect us with the earth and the air, the seasons and the natural order of our beautiful planet. They can also connect us with those we love. My grandma instilled in me my love of gardening, plants and flowers (she loved roses too). When she passed away, we planted a rose bush along with a few of her ashes (which I know she would have wanted) in the garden. Now I feel her presence in my garden every day and the rose smells like raspberry ice cream! She loved raspberry ice cream. Maybe you can find a spot in your garden to plant a rose for your friend. xo
