You may recall seeing Meg Braff’s Locust Valley home in the May 2006 issue of House Beautiful… well it is just as gorgeous 10 years later, and it happens to be for sale! Meg is currently building her dream home, which I cannot wait to see, therefore one very lucky buyer will be the new owner of this gorgeous Colonial built in 1956. It features seven bedrooms, six and a half baths, and over three acres in Lattingtown. Let’s take a look inside! Below, I have included images from the real estate listing along with images from House Beautiful (courtesy of Meg Braff Designs)…
Absolute dream home, yes?! I am such a huge fan of Meg’s classic style. To learn more about Meg Braff Designs, please click here, and click here for the real estate listing. So gorgeous!

Just goes to show you that knotty pine paneling can actually be quite beautiful. Kudos to her for not sterilizing it with white paint. Love the house. It will be interesting to see what her dream house looks like, because this one's hard to top. And in Lattingtown, no less. Here is how they speak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyBVCp21Reo
Classic and timeless! Love the table and chairs in kitchen where the island would have gone- love the Le Lac chintz too! Looks like a great family home for a beautiful and active young American family!
Such a beautiful house that is so warm and inviting. I agree with Cynthia, this house is great I cannot wait to see what her dream house looks like.
