It is always so fun to find homes by your favorite designers for sale, so when my friend Cynthia sent me a link to this Greenwich, Connecticut Georgian for sale, I could not wait to share! Designed by Cindy Rinfret, this classic home was built in 1959 and contains over 11,870 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 11 baths. The 3.93 acre lot features a tennis court, pool and cabana, formal gardens, a secret garden, gazebo with frog pond, and exquisite landscaping.
Architect Doug Vanderhorn oversaw an extensive renovation, and you can see a few before pictures here. Featured in Cindy’s book Greenwich Style: Inspired Family Homes, the home was designed for both entertaining and the lifestyle of an active family. “No room is off limits. Every inch of this home is used and loved on a daily basis.” Let’s take a tour!
You can find the real estate listing here, and for additional information on Cindy Rinfret, please visit Rinfret, Ltd. and follow @rinfretltd on Instagram. I also love and recommend both of Cindy’s books, Classic Greenwich Style and Greenwich Style: Inspired Family Homes.

Stunning! Loved every room in this house!
I love the exterior and the way they integrated a tennis court/basketball hoop and pool into what is still a beautiful garden.
Oh dear they bought at the height of market in 08 paid $16M. Property taxes are $100k a year. Only $10k of it can be deducted but Conn has income tax too. I predict you’ll see more homes in high tax states go on market.
It’s a dream…… Beautiful home and beautifully designed with timeless decor. The garden is so lovely that I’ll dream about it tonight.
Thanks for sharing.
A decorators dream!
