Somehow an old school wood paneled library seems like the quintessential place for dear old dad to unwind on Father’s Day, so I have assembled 15 classic and elegant examples for today’s post. I have always wanted a similar library in our home as well… can’t you just imagine curling up with a cup of tea and a stack of books in one of these cozy rooms for days? I would never leave! Father’s Day is Saturday, so I have also assembled a list of last-minute gift ideas, all of which are available on Amazon Prime for free two-day shipping. Enjoy!

Oh, Andrea, I enjoy all your posts, but this might possibly be one of my all time favorites. I could plant myself in any of these beautiful rooms with a book and beverage, and be one happy lady. Thank you for your Blog, and for the reassurance that classic design is, and forever will be, a constant in the homes of those who appreciate a rich heritage of traditional interiors.
Thank you, Susan!! 🙂
I have always loved a clubby room with wood paneling of course. Throw in some chintz and oriental rug and velvet ..anyway those photos were all the ideal ‘study’. I have always liked a masculine room.
Fathers Day will be sad as all the fathers in my family are no longer with us. My husband liked to receive Mont Blanc pens. Enjoy your Father’s Day !
