Gorgeous! After seeing everything painted white for so long now these rooms look fresh and new and cozy and exciting! Your posts are always stimulating Andrea!! ❤️
These are my favorites. The Lower Library at Chatsworth during the time of the 11th Duke & Duchess of Devonshire. Now that is a room I can imagine reading or like the Duke, having a nice nap in!
Oh, Andrea, I enjoy all your posts, but this might possibly be one of my all time favorites. I could plant myself in any of these beautiful rooms with a book and beverage, and be one happy lady. Thank you for your Blog, and for the reassurance that classic design is, and forever will be, a constant in the homes of those who appreciate a rich heritage of traditional interiors.
I have always loved a clubby room with wood paneling of course. Throw in some chintz and oriental rug and velvet ..anyway those photos were all the ideal ‘study’. I have always liked a masculine room.
Fathers Day will be sad as all the fathers in my family are no longer with us. My husband liked to receive Mont Blanc pens. Enjoy your Father’s Day !
Thanks for your wonderful blog.
