Pretty Pink Living Rooms

February 14, 2020

Happy Valentine’s Day!  To celebrate the holiday, I have compiled a list of 30+ living rooms, all painted pink! Pink is such a romantic color, and I think it is a lovely choice for a living room. It doesn’t have to be just for little girls rooms, pink can also be quite sophisticated! From blush to fuchsia, I love it all… what are your thoughts on decorating with pink?

Thank you for all those great living room photos. When I was growing up we lived in a Tudor style home with a pink paneled living living and dining room. I thought it was too much but it was just furnished with the wrong furniture. My parents had lovely colonial style items which looked great in our former home BUT not in this one. The move was important so our Grandparents could live with us in their own apartment upstairs. I now understand the reason my folks did not repaint right away. For years I hated pink- any shade of it. Perhaps it is time to rethink my attitude…

I’m so glad pink is back! What a fun post. Those rooms are all lovely but of course, my favorite is the Mario Buatta!! And that picture of Plum Sykes is still, in my mind, about the most glamorous portrait taken in recent times (and her books are brilliant!). Happy Valentines Day, Andrea! 😘❤️

Just as there must be 50 shades of white, that, too, can be said of pink. I could see my great room redone in shades of pink with a healthy dose of floral chintz prints.
Thank you for your blog and Happy Valentine Day
