When Minnette Jackson and her husband moved from New York City to Nashville, the designer drew from the the leafy greens and bright blues of the Tennessee landscape. “Nashville is such a vibrant Southern city, complete with classic architecture, beautiful green hills, and a heavy dose of Southern hospitality,” Minnette told One Kings Lane. “It is hard to design a home there that doesn’t reflect those comforts.” While the couple recently relocated again, this time to Minnette’s hometown of Houston, this “classic with a twist” home is too lovely not to share! Photography is from One Kings Lane with additional images from Minnette’s portfolio.

I love the dining room wallpaper – I’m assuming seagrass? Any IDs on it?
What a beautiful home! Can you please tell me the master bedroom paint color? Thank you! Kathy
Looks like it could be BM Quiet Moments. I’d love to know too!
So gorgeous. I love your blog. We moved into a large contemporary home
which had to be remodeled. The designer insisted on traditional design,
which is my favorite anyway. She said, you can then keep your things forever.
Thank you for the beautiful homes and designs to inspire us. Always an “Ah!”
A very smart designer! Thank you so much for the kind words. 🙂

The Glam Pad
One of the best designs I have ever come across. Thank you for sharing
Can you tell me what the floral living room chair fabric is from your former home in Nashville? Absolutely beautiful – love the green wall too. All so beautiful…
