  1. Because Highlands (our go-to place in the mountains) is high-end rustic, both of these homes fit seamlessly into the environment. Highlands is such a beautiful place, with friendly folks and great dining options. We love any chance we get to unwind in it’s peaceful atmosphere.

  2. The powder room wallpaper in the first home was a color variant of one we used in the entrance of our Seattle home. Fun to see it again.

  3. Beautiful !! So enjoy all your posts!! I have been following you for years and look forward to reading all your posts. So sad that so many bloggers don’t post anymore!
    Thank you for continuing!

  4. The twin iron beds are exactly the ones I bought from Burdines years ago when they actually carried very good pieces of furniture…also bought Baker slipper chairs. I recently pulled the beds out of storage and placed them side by side in a bedroom with a French armoire…they still looked great with white linens and white silk pillows. Also, my Mother’s chaise lounge with a white plain slipcover…Thanks for the posts!
