Have you finished your Christmas decorating and shopping yet? Mine is coming along slowly but surely, but I will say the Holiday Spirit has helped to cheer covid blues. This will be our first Christmas in our new home now that we are back in Dallas, and I’m having so much fun decorating.
Also bringing joy are two spectacular homes decked for the holidays and featured in the holiday issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. On the cover is a Buckhead home designed by Margaret Kirkland Interiors for an empty nester family. The couple owned a substantial amount of antiques and family heirlooms, and they were drawn to Kirkland due to her firm’s expertise in incorporating clients’ existing treasures into their designs. (Click here to read more about Margaret Kirkland… a favorite of The Glam Pad!)
In addition, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles features a stunning 1960s Buckhead home originally designed by celebrated architect James Means. The home needed a significant update when the owners purchased it, but they fell in love with its heart pine floors and Colonial-influenced architectural features. Through a renovation that has spanned nearly two decades, they worked with Beth Ervin and Norman D. Askins lovingly reimagining and cultivating their home.

Beautiful! When do we get a tour of your new home?
Hi Lisa,
I’m hoping to have it photographed in the spring! 🙂 Thank you for asking!

Just GORGEOUS! Love everything about these spaces. Loved the toned-down colors and English feeling…
