Lovely San Francisco style which I have always loved from when I lived there. Now in Bruges and I add a few Dutch and Flemish 1600-1700 c paintings to the mix with also lots of Chinese art from my days in the Far East. A tribute to the late Ann Getty whose style none of could keep up with. Margaret MacDonald.
Thank you Glam Pad for this wonderful article I love how you combined my Instagram photos with the chairsh piece so clever. So glad you appreciate a home full of collected treasures!
Warmest regards,
Allison Speer
This is consistently one of the best interior design blogs I’ve seen. You really outdid yourself ! This house made my day. The table settings are flawless. The dishes with the Mandarins and exotic animals around the rim are just wonderful. She and her designers made chinoiserie look fresh, young, and relevant. I love it!
What a delight to see color and exquisite furnishings! I am tired of homes looking like hotel rooms! Put gray in the closet and shut the door, voila’. The start of a lovely home!
You would love my newly remodeled/redecorated French Normandy home. Using my strong intuition, I ended up with a French/English cottage GLAM coastal look all in my fav pinks, teals and whites. Every room was new wallpaper which tied everything to get with teal as the chief color….except my master bedroom, which is water color floral, a la sanctuary/spa. Antiques mix with traditional/modern. I get raves …and entertain so much more. Wish I could send photos but iPhone capability is wrong. HALF MOON BAY

I have dining room tablescape envy!
Love the colors ! Love the layering! Accessorizing! So wonderful to see , rather than the blah, blah, grey. Maybe we have evolved from that. Hope so!

Allison Speer’s tablescapes are truly amazing and special and I’m inspired and motivated to go create beautiful tables for my every day!
Very lively interiors and bountiful table settings. She really embraces colour and that is good to see.
What a fun visit! Love Allison’s color choices and her chinoiserie flair.
The home is gorgeous but I want the dress! Do you know where to buy the dress or the designer/maker?
