Bill is one of my favorite maximalist designers- this cottage could even be in PB as it is like one of the old Mizner places, so ancient looking! The gardens are divine – so established!
Bills shop on Worth Ave is chock full of treasures and its always fun to visit him there in the Winter-
Anglophile with a capital “A”. Anglo to the max. I would never have blinked if you had said this was in the Dorset countryside. He’s got it down pat and it looks great. I wish I’d seen the previous house with his decor. Love it.
Wow. That is Heaven. The gardens, the interiors, such beauty. So, “Wind in the Willows.” Like everybody else I’m enchanted by it all. Thank you for highlighting it Andrea! Xo Elizabeth
A fabulous post! Such a beautiful property in a beautiful area. I always wondered how he would decorate his own home. The grounds are spectacular. Thank you for sharing this!
One of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen! Perfect. Charming. Gorgeous inside and out! Couldn’t believe it wasn’t in England. I’m in love with all the portraits. I have a few of my own too, including one of my 6th great-grandfather who died in 1776. Thanks for sharing this dreamy home! xo
There just isn’t a more talented designer than Bill Eubanks. I can remember going to his Christmas Party in Memphis at his old house, Carrier Hall. Walking in that door at twenty-years-old I was speechless. The interior of that house was completely and utterly sublime. Sumptuous fabrics, beeswax candles and the most beautiful and fragrant flowers everywhere. The Memphis Chamber Ensemble would play and opera star Kallen Esperian would sing. Words can’t do justice to the experience. I can remember thinking that most people go their whole lives without ever walking into a space as luxurious and beautiful.
Hello amazing dream house. You are so romantic and photogenic. You have spoiled me for all others.
I have fallen in love! Just enough French influence to make mecfeel at home. Simply gorgeous and charming.
