It seems like more often than not, the magazines I subscribe to get a quick glance and an immediate toss in the recycle. However, one magazine that always garners my undivided attention is Flower magazine. Since its debut in March of 2007, Flower has grown at a steady pace, recently moving from quarterly to bimonthly, and it is now available in all 50 states and 17 countries. Flower founder and editor-in-chief, Margot Shaw, does a beautiful job of curating elegant and classic content, and this month’s holiday is an exquisite example. Today, we will take a brief peek at the Christmas features from the November/December 2019 issue… Today is also Cyber Monday, and I have updated my Guide to Black Friday Shopping to include today’s best sales!

An Affair to Remember
Such a beautiful holiday issue! Magazine subscriptions make a lovely gift, and I recommend purchasing via Amazon (Flower magazine here). I used to have to keep an Excel spreadsheet to manage my magazine subscriptions, and now I just use Amazon’s Magazine Subscription Manager…. it was life changing! Another gift idea is LIVING FLORAL: Entertaining and Decorating with Flowers by Margot Shaw (my review is here). Don’t forget today is Cyber Monday! My updated Shopping Guide is here! And for the ultimate gift guide, please visit The Glam Pad’s Holiday Gift Guide, curated by over 20 of the nation’s top interior designers and purveyors of good taste

Enjoyed your writing, expecting some further great works!
Beautiful! Love that Affair to Remember table setting.
So wonderful!! Just subscribed to the magazine!!
Thanks for all of your hard work to find and publish such gorgeous postings!
My favorite was the Merry Vintage Christmas!
Cheers! Jan at Rosemary Cottage
The plate shown in the Time to Shine: Holiday Home Tour photo isn’t Spode Christmas Tree, but a pattern by Cuthbertson that was in production before Spode’s Christmas tree pattern. Both are beautiful, but Cuthbertson’s tree features a star at the top while Spode’s Christmas tree pattern features a Santa Claus at the top of the tree.
Hi Kathy,

Another wonderful post. Thank you!
Cracking up over your subscription Excel spreadsheet and I love the Amazon manager also! As always, I appreciate and really enjoy your blog.
I love all the beautiful photos! I love dishes but was enlightened by the Spode vs Cuthbertson. I am lagging on pulling the full Monty on decorating as far this year. I am going to get charged up and tackle all the crates of Christmas ‘stuff’. Wish me luck
I loved each and every gorgeous image in this post! The exterior doors, the interior rooms decked out so elegantly as well as the table settings and gift wrap ideas. Loved it all. Will scroll through a few more times later this week. thanks!
Heavens Ive cut back on my subscriptions but I’m hooked!
Very reasonable one year rate.
I need these visual inspirations!
Thank you.
