I ordered a sample of the beige in early February but got a reply saying it’s out of stock everywhere. So disappointed! I did get the green sample but apparently, beige is the most popular. I saw a pic of the beige in a stairwell and it was gorgeous!
I love that this pattern looks good in whatever room it’s used in and whatever size. I am leaning toward the brown print in my guest bathroom. Maybe matching shower curtains . As someone said ‘When more is not enough’!
Loved this! Bird & Thistle has been a longtime favorite of mine…and when I did my bath reno last year, I decided to use the blue and white version. There is not a person who sees it – man or woman – that is is not knocked out by that pattern. Thank you for sharing all the backstory and marvelous takes on the use of it.

Any information re why the Bird and Thistle wallpaper has changed so much? Used in dining room several years ago and wanted to use in new house but just ordered a sample and it is so different! Stark white background instead of creamy white, paper no longer feels smooth, etc.
Any way to locate the earlier version?
