Highlights from the 2021 Kips Bay Show House Palm Beach

I was sad to miss the 4th Annual Kips Bay Show House Palm Beach this year… several friends said it was the best one yet. Fortunately, the celebrated photographer, Carmel Brantley of Brantley Photography, is granting us an inside tour!  The home chosen was a 4,400 square-foot, five-bedroom Mediterranean located on the South Flagler Drive waterfront in West Palm Beach.  Twenty designers from across the country created inspiring spaces, transforming the home into a tropical paradise.

Let’s start with Brittany Bromley’s bedroom and bath, designed to serve as a respite from everyday life.  Named “Jardin des Perroquets,” the room was designed around the pink parakeets from the de Gournay wallpaper.

  1. Thank you so much for featuring this house, I was unable to go in person this year so I am so pleased to see your article and accompanying photos. I love the imaginative use of color. It makes all those white/beige minimalist interiors look dull and boring.

  2. Yes Andrea, All of the past nine Palm Beach Decorator Show Houses I’ve attended were fabulous but this 2021 Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House was the BEST ever! Innovative designs, magical colors, elegant presentations. All of the outdoor patios and balconies were exquisite. And lunch with my three friends at Belle and Maxwell absolutely topped the afternoon off! Hope you can attend next year. ?

  3. It seems that Brittany Bromley is the one to watch. That bathroom! The SMI courtyard treatment was also brilliant.
