Known for his interesting mix of elegant and modern styles masterfully assembled to create timeless spaces, Alex Papachristidis’s decorating has evolved over the past decade with the incorporation of more artisanal furniture and handsome artwork. THE ELEGANT LIFE: Rooms that Welcome and Inspire, Alex’s latest book, profiles an array of arresting projects, including a luxe, modern beach house decorated in gold, silver, and white; a Manhattan home with a striking lavender-and-blue palette; and a colorful bohemian apartment incorporating midcentury furniture. Each project presents the varied ways Papachristidis makes versatile spaces to share with family and friends—from cozy seating areas to games tables.
Throughout the book are tabletop settings styled by Papachristidis that are integrated in many of the featured homes as he shares with treasured clients how to mix contemporary dishes with antique decorative objets to create eye-catching tableaux. Alex warmly shares his gift for gracious living in THE ELEGANT LIFE, creating a must-have book for anyone who wishes to enrich their own surroundings and lifestyle.
The Glam Pad adores THE ELEGANT LIFE in addition to Alex’s first book, The Age of Elegance: Interiors by Alex Papachristidis. We are also head-over-heels in love with this Greenwich Village Townhouse he designed, featured in Architectural Digest and steeped in Old School elegance. Enjoy!
