AERIN x The Mahjong Line
It seems mahjong has taken us all by storm, and frankly, we can’t get enough of the beautifully designed sets continuing to hit the market. Now, The Mahjong Line has partnered with AERIN on its first-ever tile collaboration, bringing Aerin Lauder’s signature elegance to the brand’s beloved line.

Inspired by summers in East Hampton, one of Lauder’s favorite places, the collection celebrates the art of gathering with illustrations inspired by blooming gardens, local farm stands, leisurely bicycle rides, and relaxed afternoons spent outdoors.
Created in an beautiful Soft Blue colorway, the set reimagines all ten Joker tiles with charming new artwork while introducing metallic gold detailing for the very first time, adding a subtle touch of polish to the botanical motifs and dragonflies. The complete set includes the custom tiles, a coordinating light blue tile bag, and green wooden racks and pushers, all designed with love for the collaboration.
Stunningly executed and undeniably chic, it’s a collaboration that perfectly captures both brands’ love of gracious entertaining. If this is any indication of what’s to come, we certainly hope it’s only the first of many collaborations between these two.
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Designer Reveal
The countdown is officially on. After revealing this year’s spectacular Greenwich Village townhouse earlier this summer, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has now revealed the 22 designers who will transform the historic residence ahead of its September 16th opening.

This year’s roster is an exciting mix of celebrated names and rising talents, including Carrier and Company, Peter Dunham & Associates, Chad Dorsey Design, Marmol Radziner, Nicole Fisher Interiors, EZG Design, Studio Armando Aguirre, and John Ferguson Interiors, among many others.

Adding another layer of excitement, art curator Gay Gassmann has been enlisted to curate a remarkable collection of works from some of the country’s leading galleries, thoughtfully placing art throughout the home to complement each designer’s vision. We are hoping the art will be just as memorable as the rooms themselves!

Set within the beautifully restored 1839 townhouse at 80 W. Washington Place, this year’s Show House promises to be one of the design highlights of the fall season. As always, we can’t wait to see how each designer interprets their space and discover the ideas, craftsmanship, and inspiration that make Kips Bay one of our favorite events of the year.
Julia Amory Store Opening
Known for her colorful block-printed dresses and effortless take on classic dressing, Julia Amory has built a devoted following around clothing that feels as appropriate for a Palm Beach luncheon as it does for an English country weekend. Now, the brand is bringing that signature aesthetic to Texas with its first-ever boutique in the state, opening this fall on Dallas’ increasingly stylish Knox Street.
The new boutique will carry Julia’s full collection of ready-to-wear, accessories, and home décor in a space designed by Mark D. Sikes that perfectly reflects the brand’s timeless, collected sensibility. To celebrate the opening, Sikes also created a series of charming illustrations of the storefront, a fitting tribute to a brand that has long embraced color, pattern, and classic style.
As longtime admirers of Julia’s cheerful prints and polished approach to dressing, we’re delighted to see the brand’s continued expansion. Between the beautiful new boutique and Knox Street’s ever-growing roster of design-minded retailers, we have a feeling it will quickly become one of Dallas’ most charming shopping destinations—and one we’ll certainly be adding to our list the next time we’re in town.
