Thank you so very much for this exquisite post! We have been attempting to redecorate our smaller, more recently-built home in VA in a similar historical look but without the help of a decorator. I sorely miss my collection of Colonial Homes magazines now as they provided a plethora of accurate design information. This home design is just the roadmap I needed! Where can I find the actual paint color used throughout? I am ordering Amelia Handegan’s book promptly as a gift to myself. Again, many thanks for featuring this incredible historic beauty.
I love and have loved the work of Amelia Handegan’s work for years. My favorite was a home in Charleston…I think…published years ago in Southern Accents. You might enjoy it yourself and you can find it and more on Pinterest.

Nice to see people putting moldings and wallpapers back they way they are supposed to be.
Wow! I feel like this is my lucky day…lots of inspiration in this one. Thanks again!
