Dear Andrea, What could be more sublime than to rescue a fabulous twenties Georgian Revival? Not for the faint of heart or weak of purse! When I lived in Atlanta, I saw many homes such as this one, also in the Carolinas and the DC area…tradition never dies, and it's flourishing even more than ever before! Dean
You just made my day. Wow. A real home, with warmth and character. Kudos to Janet Simon for her use of colour and traditional fabrics and styles. There is nothing like it.
This is too funny, I know Janet Simon and I am going to her sister inlaw's house in a few weeks. Janet's front yard becomes a show stopper with each season from daffodils to pumpkins it's amazing. A truly classi tradtiional designer!
I am dying over all of that Hollyhock/Althea!!! Not to mention the rest of the Simon home–you know I love the Imperial Trellis/Althea combo! Such a gorgeous find–for them and for you! Thank you for sharing! Xo!!!

Yet another post to remind me why I adore this website.

Wow! What a gorgeous home! I particularly love the pale blue sitting room. It feels so fresh and cheerful.
As long as there are people like janet on this earth, beauty will endure.
