On Wednesday I wrote about decorating the kitchen for Christmas, and a lovely reader sent me a link to the full home tour of one of the kitchens, as featured in Traditional Home. The home is located in Park City, Utah with architecture by George Myers and interior design by Elizabeth Hague. Originally featured in the November/December 2011 issue, this home is so beautiful, I just had to share!
Today is also the last day of The Glam Pad’s special gift guide series with Alison from Cattlebaron in Cashmere @cattlebaronincashmere, and Alison is sharing a classic gift guide for children. “My gift guide for kids spans across many interests and age ranges. Although I don’t typically enjoy modern day board games, I love the idea of introducing our children to classic games like Rummikub! My very favorite book is The Quiltmaker’s Gift — its not to be missed!”
Timeless design and timeless gifts… This is my kind of Christmas!

Truly a timeless home. How beautiful!

I share Shelley’s comments. It is a truly beautiful and timeless home. Thank you for sharing this.
An absolutely lovely, gracious and timeless house! Beautifully done and beautifully decorated for Christmas without looking like they got in on a deal to buy a dept store’s over-the-top Christmas decorations.
Love the use of color in this home!! So refreshing!
I love the use of duck-egg blue throughout the house, punctuated with bolder colours like orange, green and red. This is a really beautiful home and it has inspired me to use a single-colour (not cream or beige!) on the walls as a backdrop in all of my downsatairs rooms. Fabulous post Andrea, many thanks, Maria.
