After searching for the perfect orange for a guest room to coordinate with a vintage deep-coral Jay Yang chinoiserie fabric, I settled on
Benjamin Moore 158 – “Pineapple Orange.” It is a very elegant orange, a bit like an orange dreamsicle.
I like orange but it took a bold soul to paint their entire entrance and up to second level, but the results are stunning. There’s orange and then there is Orange. The pumpkin orange sets off antiques and the brighter melons set off blues and white . Maybe orange will be the new neutral. Remember how lime green several years ago was the new black? It was everywhere.
I am so picky but not with these 50. I can honestly say they are all A+ perfect. I would be happy to just have that laundry room. Wow! I loved this post…Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful posting as always!! Really appreciate all of the hard work you do so that we can enjoy rooms like these!
Just for everyone’s information the latest issue of Southern Home glossy magazine is a winner for the Winter Holidays – just arrived in the door!
Cheers! and Happy Halloween!

So many gorgeous orange rooms. The Shelley Johnstone space is a favorite! Happy Monday, Andrea!
These rooms are gorgeous and wonderfully bold design! Thanks for posting!
My favorite color. I prefer the deep corals and persimmons, or the palest of orange sorbet.

Very nice! Love this color! Thanks for posting as it is a gray day in Nashville.
Love, love, love these designers who used all the various shades of this “up” feeling color!
Another wonderful post. Thank you, Andrea!
