Welcome to TGP Tidbits where we round up the happenings and our musings of the design industry each week. This week we take a look at Mrs. Alice’s Fall Collection, Fursatile’s Closing Sale, and Our Favorite Advent Calendars. Written by Natalie Aldridge.

Mrs. Alice’s Fall Collection

The leaves have started to change here in London, and I couldn’t be more excited. With the crisp air brushing my cheeks, I’ve got autumn entertaining on my mind. Mrs. Alice, a favorite at The Glam Pad, has just released her fall collection, perfectly timed for the season. Featuring three distinct tablescape themes—Joy of Autumn, Enchanted Woodland, and Chinoiserie Owl—the collection is perfect for fall gatherings, Halloween soirées, or Thanksgiving feasts. Even more enchanting, the collection was shot at founder Alice’s idyllic rural Welsh home, adding a charming touch to its debut. Take a look!

Fursatile’s Closing Sale

In 2015, a Cavalier King Charles puppy named Cooper stole the heart of Fursatile’s founder, Jenny Caulk, quickly making her home his own. Growing up, she had always admired the “picture-perfect” rooms in her mother’s magazines and learned to find beauty in everyday moments—whether in a well-made bed, a home-cooked meal, or a room filled with cherished objects. Inspired by her mother’s ethos of “living beautifully,” she set out to create stylish, versatile products that catered to both people and pets.

After years of perfecting designs, sourcing quality materials, and securing patents, she launched Fursatile in 2019. The brand’s innovative products, like Protective Covers and the patented Step Ottoman, quickly gained a following among interior designers, celebrities, influencers, and pet lovers. Fursatile has been featured in Oprah’s O List, House Beautiful, Virginia Living, Hamptons Real Estate Showcase, The Scout Guide, and more, fulfilling her dream of beautifully connecting people and pets.

Having started the brand after the unexpected loss of her father, Jenny was driven by the values he instilled—honesty, hard work, and determination. With the unwavering support of her customers, especially following the passing of her mother in January 2022, Fursatile grew into something truly special, fostering deep and lasting connections.

Now, after wearing every hat in the business, she’s made the tough decision to close this chapter. To mark the occasion, Fursatile is offering a 40% off sitewide sale, with no restocks—making it the perfect time to enjoy the brand’s signature products.

Though Fursatile is pausing for now, the bond with its community remains. Customers are encouraged to stay connected as this journey evolves. Here’s to the Fursatile legacy and a life lived beautifully, a message The Glam Pad can surely a test to! Shop here now!

TGP’s Favorite Advent Calendars

Christmas may be two months away, but 2024 advent calendars are flying off the shelves faster than you can say “holiday countdown!” While we typically wait until Thanksgiving to dive into all things Christmas, the early release of advent calendars from some of our favorite brands has us sharing our top picks a little sooner this year.

  1. Fortnum’s Christmas Tree Advent Calendar

You can never go wrong with a classic wooden advent calendar. Fortnum & Mason in London offers some of the most coveted ones that are sure to be cherished for years to come.

2. Green Garden Gourmet Chocolate Advent Calendar

Nothing says advent like a piece of chocolate, but let’s be honest—those foil-wrapped treats often disappoint. This year, we’re stepping up our game with a more gourmet option: the stunning advent calendar from Compartes Chocolatier.

3. Penhaligon’s Beauty Advent Calendar

You can never go wrong with a selection of scented treats. This year, Penhaligon’s—a perfumery with royal heritage—has truly outdone itself with an advent calendar featuring an exquisite array of classic scents, candles, and more.

4. The New Yorker Puzzle Advent Calendar

While candy and other little treats are always delightful, this New Yorker advent calendar, with 24 days of mini puzzles, is irresistibly charming and promises endless fun for the entire family.

5.  Guerlain’s “Hive of Wonders” Advent Calendar

Follow the trail of the shimmering Bee through the festive season with the iconic Guerlain Advent calendar, this year inspired by the whimsical, sparkling world of French jewelry designer Shourouk Rhaiem. A limited-edition creation filled with 25 treasures, to count down each day until the Holiday season in magical style.
