Miles Redd Refreshes his Family Home

When it comes to design, Miles Redd can do no wrong, and his mother could not agree more! After years of commandeering the family dining room as her office in her Buckhead, Atlanta home, she finally decided it was time for an overhaul. Miles helped her transform an unused library in the back of the house into her new library, and refresh the dining room to make warm and inviting. More below...

Emerald glazed walls, blue and white Chinoiserie lamps, and Lee Jofa's Althea chintz, make this office a dream come true.

The lamp cords were snaked between the table leaves and under the rug. So smart!

The large table now used in the office was traded in for a smaller round one to boost conversation.

Miles rehung art throughout the home. In the family room, he added brackets and blue and white china.

To replace the master bedroom's shutters, Miles had custom curtains and pelmuts made in pea green silk taffeta with white trim. The carpet is from Stark.

Mrs. Redd loves poodles, and Miles added this one as a little joke.

So beautiful!! Mrs. Redd must be one proud Mother! To read more, please visit House Beautiful or purchase the February issue on newsstands now.
