John Derian for Target

Thanksgiving is undoubtedly a time for gratitude, but it also brings with it the exciting opportunity for festive decor and tablescapes. From the centerpiece on the table to the adornments welcoming guests at the door, we adore bringing in the autumnal spirit into our homes. Enter John Derian’s latest Thanksgiving collection for Target—a beacon of serenity and artisanal touch amidst the festive frenzy. The celebrated master of decoupage, whose New York shop has achieved cult status, has once again delivered an impeccably curated collection.

Derian’s collaboration with Target, which began in 2008 with a collection of stationery and home décor, has been nothing short of prolific. Last year, he enchanted shoppers with playful creations, including a rooster-shaped gravy boat, a squash-inspired pillow, and a wreath adorned with mushrooms, each piece evoking the charm of a bygone era. This year’s collection promises to dazzle once more, as Derian draws on his deep affection for vintage botanical illustrations, offering a fresh array of pieces that will captivate well beyond the final course of pumpkin pie. Let’s have a look!

India Hicks for Tuckernuck

India Hicks, daughter of Lady Pamela Hicks (once Queen Elizabeth’s lady-in-waiting) and goddaughter to none other than King Charles III, is on a serious streak this season. Just six weeks after unveiling an illustrated biography of her illustrious mother, the ever-stylish, Bahamas-based British designer is back at it. This time for a limited-edition collection with none other than Washington, D.C. based retailer Tuckernuck.

Inspired by India’s effortlessly chic yet polished way of life, the 24-piece capsule brims with vibrant, whimsical designs tailored for the woman on the go. Tuckernuck’s signature blend of colorful, nostalgic pieces perfectly complements India’s aesthetic. Though her Bahamas lifestyle lends a relaxed, bohemian flair, her deep-rooted family heritage infuses the collection with an undeniably regal air.

Shot at Villa Verde—the elegant Palladian home her late father, legendary interior designer David Hicks, built in Portugal’s Algarve—the collection is brimming with statement pieces. Highlights include a fierce leopard-print jacket, vibrant maxis, chic blouses, beaded jewels, and the pièce de résistance, a puff-sleeve toile dress featured on both India and her teenage daughter.
