Frequently, I am contacted by readers looking for recommendations on interior design firms, and Palm Beach-based McCann Design Group is always on my list. McCann Design Group is known for their fresh, sophisticated approach to creating beautiful spaces, inspired by the coastal subtropics. Today, I am sharing one of my favorite projects from their portfolio…. This home is located on the North End of Palm Beach, and it is absolutely gorgeous!

McCann Design Group (MDG) was founded in 2000 by Sara McCann. In 2013, MDG opened HIVE HOME, GIFT & GARDEN with carefully-chosen collections of furniture, lighting, home accessories, gifts, stationery, and plants. Kate Spade just launched a fabulous new home collection that embodies the brand’s femininity, whimsy, and wit offering flirty furniture, lighting, rugs, and other staples. The line’s inspiration, said Kate Spade New York president and creative director Deborah Lloyd, is “interesting people leading interesting lives. I imagine these pieces in the homes of Karlie Kloss, Iris Apfel, Audrey Hepburn…”

I’m in love with the painterly dots and clean lines of the Downing Desk in the style of Tommi Parzinger. You can read the story behind it here.

How adorable is the Pavilion Dot Cylinder Table Lamp?

And the Dickinson Large Pendant is so glamorous with its stunning starburst design and clusters of pearls and crystals.

Also from the lighting collection is this Ellery Sconce with a fabulous gold bow. I’m obsessed!

One of my favorite Instagram accounts belongs to Sarah Bartholomew Designs, an incredibly chic and talented interior designer based in Nashville. Sarah is known for her sophisticated, timeless, all-American style. The classic beauty also happens to be a muse and model for Mark D. Sikes and his new MDS Stripes collection, which I plan to write about soon. And her fabulous Pinterest account was named one of the 10 must-follow southern Pinterest accounts by Domino Magazine. She is a true style icon!

Sarah Bartholomew Designs will be launching a website in a few months, which I cannot wait to feature. In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite images I have pulled from her Instagram account…

Traditional Perfection in Upstate New York

This gorgeous Georgian Colonial came on the market some time ago… I saved the pictures and never got around to publishing. Built in 1915, the home and English gardens have been renovated to timeless perfection. Details such as hand-painted Chinoiserie wallpaper in the dining room, a classic white kitchen, rich wood paneling in the family room, and loads of chintz in the guest rooms including one of my favorites… Bowood by Colfax and Fowler, make this house a dream come true. I could move right in!

This elegant 4,381 square-foot home features five bedrooms and six baths. It is positively exquisite, yet warm and cozy… the perfect family home. I could not love it more!
