La Petite Maison

La Petite Maison, Houston’s charmingly miniature showhouse is here!. Part gala, part designer showcase, this pint-sized extravaganza merges philanthropy with a serious dose of creativity. At The Glam Pad, we are huge dollhouse fans, but this takes it to a whole new level.

Crafted by local architects, builders, and designers, these dollhouses are reimagined as miniature masterpieces—tiny jewel boxes brimming with style and creativity. Each one is auctioned off to benefit Family Houston, a cause championed by founder Alexandra Killion, whose flair for blending Houston’s vibrant social scene with the design world makes this event truly one-of-a-kind.

This year’s glittering lineup includes design luminaries like Jean Liu, Avery Cox, Courtney Barton, Jennifer Barron, Lauren Wills, Amy Kummer, Elizabeth Gerrit, and Kristen Leigh Studios. Adding to the glamour are contributions from industry heavyweights such as Donald Robertson, Coley Home, The Urban Electric Co., Benjamin Moore, Thibaut, Fleur Home, Porter Teleo, Beata Heuman, Holland & Sherry, Schumacher, Pierre Frey, Pindler, and Robert Kime. Think of it as the tiny house movement, but with a couture twist!

Quiet Luxury Handbags

The rise of “quiet luxury” is a movement that resonates deeply with us here at The Glam Pad and has inspired us to reflect on our favorite understated yet luxurious handbags.

A quiet luxury handbag is more than just an accessory; it’s a cornerstone of a capsule wardrobe. Vincent Darré X Monoprix

Drawing inspiration from astrology and the zodiac, this collection is a blend of playfulness and intrigue, reimagining festive décor with a mystical twist. From an opulent velvet armchair to a surrealist metal floor lamp, an Art Deco-inspired coffee table to dramatic baroque candlesticks, each piece exudes enchantment—ideal for creating a Christmas steeped in magic and wonder.

Marchesi’s Savoring the Spirit of Milan

For over two centuries, Pasticceria Marchesi has been a staple in the fabric of Milan, carrying forward timeless flavors, cherished memories, and a dedication to tradition—all framed by its exquisite interiors. Now, in celebration of this legendary pastry shop, Assouline is releasing a stunning 280-page volume that offers more than just recipes; it’s an invitation into the stunning world of Marchesi 1824.
