Myka Meier’s Modern Etiquette Made Easy

Sotheby’s Announces Mario Buatta Sale
The catalogue for The Mario Buatta: Prince of Interiors sale at Sotheby’s is online as of late last week! The sale includes furniture, fine art, and decorative objects from the legendary designer’s personal collection. Nearly 1,000 lots were curated from Mario’s Upper East Side apartment, his Connecticut house, and several storage units. The collection includes:
- English and Chinese Export porcelain
- English pottery and Dutch Delft
- English enamels, silver, and glassware
- Numerous pieces of English and Continental furniture
- An ensemble of fine art (including his well-known collection of dog paintings)
