Chinoiserie Pumpkins and Accents
Blue and white Chinoiserie accents for the home are a classic design staple, and I adore the idea of incorporating Chinoiserie pumpkins within your fall decor. Dana Mahnke, founder of Indigo Home Shop, been creating these hand-painted treasures for three years, and her work has been featured multiple times by Town & Country, Southern Living, and The Daily South. Dana is an incredibly talented artist who also specializes in hand-painted Chinoiserie pet bowls, Christmas ornaments, porcelain flowers and vegetables, and more. October 15 is the deadline to order pumpkins for Thanksgiving arrival, and it is not too soon to get a jump start on your holiday gift list… below are a few highlights from Dana’s store and Instagram!

A Timeless Classic Home by Cathy Kincaid
Interior design is an investment, and designer Cathy Kincaid’s interiors are created to last a lifetime. I absolutely adore her timeless classic style! The other day I was perusing her glorious website, and I just had to share this elegant home she designed in the Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas. I had seen many of these images before via Pinterest and Instagram, but it is always nice to view the home in entirety. With a blue and white palette, this elegant home is soft and serene. It also contains many of my favorite things… hand-painted Gracie wall coverings, blue and white Chinoiserie porcelain, fine antiques, and D. Porthault linens. Enjoy!

Zuber Announces Exclusive Line of Scarves and Pillows
For as long as I can remember, I have admired and coveted the exquisite woodblock-printed wall coverings from Zuber & Cie. Founded in 1797 in France, Zuber wall coverings can be found in the White House (thanks to Jacqueline Kennedy) and in many of the finest homes across the world. Zuber papers are printed with hand-carved woodblocks which were made between 1797 and 1830, each classified as a national treasure. They are truly works of art. While selecting Zuber papers for your home is an investment, I was thrilled to learn that Zuber has announced an exclusive line of pillows and scarves… Now we can all incorporate a little Zuber into our lives!
The accessories are 100 percent silk and feature a number of Zuber’s famous scenes including Hindoustan, Isola Bella, Les Lointains, and Bresil to name a few. Pillows (18 x 18 inches) are just $225 each, and scarves (35 x 34 inches) are $325.00 each. All items are made in France. The exclusive collection was launched this week, just in time for holiday giving!

Wouldn’t the scarves be gorgeous framed? And if you do not see your favorite Zuber design, stay tuned as additional designs will be added to the collection. To order, please email [email protected] or call 212.486.9226.
